On Saturday August 22, 2009, I photographed Green Day at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona. While photographing the show, I captured a special moment when a woman from the crowd climbed on stage and gave the lead singer of Green Day, Billie Joe Armstrong, a kiss during the middle of their performance. In the fifteen years I’ve been photographing the music industry, I have never witnessed an event so unique and special. I’d like to ask for the help of my community to spread the word about this event to locate this woman so that I can give her a print of what I assume to be a very memorable moment in her life.
